As a performer, Lara has established herself as a fixture of the Chicago musical theatre "Divas" society. She has been featured in leading roles on National tours and has starred on nearly every local stage. As a singer, she is the first call background vocalist for the tribute shows of Artist's Lounge Live and the acclaimed Jazz group, Better Together. She is also the Executive Artistic Producer and Resident Director for the Walking Plays program at the world famous Morton Arboretum.
